    The Russian policy of conquest through immigration was attempted in the Baltics too. Latvia has been specially vulnerable - but it seems that quite a few Russians remigrated into Russia (2012), or emigrated further, specially to the UK. I don't know what happened after Brexit. Anyway, it seems that present-day Russian insiders are reluctant to act as fifth column for Putin, in spite of some having cordial relations to Putin's cover party. Understandably. Who would wish to have Putin's violent and hypocritical corruptocracy as government?
