It has been my experience that bosses with a confrontational style never really deliver. The failure can be glossed over by disguises or substitutes for the real thing, but a serious analysis reveals the sad state of things.
So it remains to be seen: will he lay off his repulsive offensiveness and start behaving like a responsible adult, or is this just another manoeuvre (yeah, I looked up the spelling) to keep the opposition off balance and weaken their criticism? Is it just words, or will there be action, and which action?

His goal, ad I understand it, was making Islam great again (great, perhaps as in 750 AD). What he did by the brutality of his ways, was uniting the world against him and his movement.
There is still a bloodbath to come, I fear, but the end of the game seems to be getting nearer.

Pirsig - in the MC book - discussed how to cope with the two horns of a dilemma. One dirty trick was throwing sand in the eyes of the charging bull.
Some of the polymorphism reminds me of sand throwing.
