Norwegian coastal cod are starving (20/08/19 14:01:02)
The summers of 2018 and 2019 have been warm, and those who enjoy swimming in the sea have had a good time. These mammal-friendly temperatures are lethally unfriendly towards marine microfauna serving as food for cod larvae. So they die before reaching 1 year.

Catching cod at the south-eastern coast is forbidden, but it seems that this ban is of no help when there is no renewal. Stopping the warming seems urgently important. If reduction of carbon emissions is the only tool to our disposal, humanity has really hard times ahead. And even worse if nothing is done.
